⚖️ 1. Ombudsman for LSGIs
OMBUDSMAN FOR LSGIs
A high-level judicial mechanism where citizens can file complaints against elected representatives or officials regarding corruption, maladministration, abuse of power, and dereliction of duty.
The institution is headed by a person having the status of a High Court Judge.
🏛️ 2. LSGI Tribunal
LSGI TRIBUNAL
A quasi-judicial body where appeals can be filed against decisions and orders of Panchayat Committees or Secretaries, including refusal of licenses, cancellation of building permits, and similar administrative actions.

💻 3. Chief Minister's Public Grievance Portal
CMO PORTAL
Citizens can directly report delays, deficiencies, or difficulties in Panchayat services through the Chief Minister's online grievance portal.
Complaints submitted through the portal are required to be addressed within the prescribed time frame.

K-SMART CITIZEN PORTAL
The integrated online service platform of the Local Self Government Department.
Citizens can submit complaints online and track their real-time status without visiting the Panchayat office.
🔍 5. Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau
VACB
Citizens may directly report bribery demands, large-scale financial irregularities, misuse of government funds, and other corruption-related issues occurring in Local Self Government offices.
📌 Hierarchy for Submitting Complaints
First Level
Panchayat Level
Panchayat Secretary / President
Local disputes, delays in applications, and routine administrative matters should first be taken up at this level.
Second Level
District Level
Joint Director / Deputy Director (LSGD)
If the issue is not resolved at the Panchayat level, complaints may be escalated to the district authorities.
Third Level
Legal Level
Ombudsman / Tribunal
In cases involving corruption, abuse of authority, violation of law, or denial of eligible services, citizens may approach these legal bodies.
